if they cant tell the difference between three point one, and three point ten, then bah i say. :p

    and, there might be a 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14, so, instead of 3.95, 3.975, 3.9875, 3.99375 etc etc.

although, i would think there would be a 4.0 before it gets to that, but i think its more of a "just in case" thing.
    heh w/e

well LMFAO yesterday i installed these without knowing they were the 3.10's...didnt eeven look at the driver name...simply went"wierd that score is like 500points higher than my last install of windows"

i dont understand the name though...it should have been the 3.95's or 4.0's(even though the 4.0's will prolly be a big release or something) not 3.10's, b/c to nubs that can mean 3.1.
coders use this system of naming... much much easier, cause if you dont want a 4.0 out yet, you just keep going until you feel like it.

Well I gave them a spin around the block and didn't like the way she handled. I lost 500+ points on a 474/392 OC and 400+ points with no OC. If I enabled the overdrive I couldn't even complete a run.

I'm sticking with the cat 3.7's until they make some thats going to burn some more rubber on my system.

I havn't run into any problems with 1942 or any other games yet.

I never had that problem in BF1942 with my 9800 pro using the last 5 diff drivers. Its gotta be your hardware maybe.

There was a 1942 bug in the drivers but you might have missed it if you used Omegas, since he's mixin the driver files and he was using one leaked oem file that didnt have that problem.

The naming is because you will see 4.x set in 2004... Currently ATI is scheduled to release 12 drivers / year so ... 3.10 was a must.
