Hi all!
It is time to show some results again.
Most horrible 5 months of my benching career is over. We got a chance to test these samples in intel labs in october 2009.
At that point I signed NDA and saw the performance of these monsters. Well.. everything else in benching was obsolete and meaningless after seeing,
what these can do under extreme conditions.
Best moment back then was when the Jon "killer/elmor" Sandström striked and killed the first CPU. "ohh.. that was too much"
Well, less talk and more scores.
Setup:
Intel Core i7 "980X" (2.4GHz ES)
EVGA Classified E760
G.skill Perfect storm F3-17066CL9T BBSE
ATI Radeon 5870 / 5970 / 5970 CF
Thermaltake TP 1200W x 2
SF3D OC Ln2 pot (version beta 2)
OS: Win XP, Win Vista 32-bit, Win 7 64-bit
first some pictures from latest session
Then I would like to show 2D results:
Superpi 1M at 6616MHz
Superpi 32M at 6550MHz
Pifast at 6616MHz
Wprime 32M at 6300MHz
Wprime 1024M at 6200MHz
3DM06 CPU test at 6320MHz
3DM Vantage CPU test at 6155MHz
3D with single 5870 card!
AM3 CPU @ 6463MHz
03 CPU @ 6450MHz (This is a bad run and low clocks on VGA)
05 CPU @ 6419MHz
06 CPU @ 6254MHz
Vantage CPU @ safe clocks
Then some aircooled runs with single 5970 just for fun!
AM3 CPU @ 6485MHz
05 CPU @ 6425Mz
06 CPU @ 6207MHz
Then I added another 5970 card to system and tried 5970 CF runs!
AM3 CPU @ 6452MHz
03 CPU @ 6188.. last run with ln2 left overs --> safe clocks
05 CPU @ 6353MHz
06 CPU @ 6188MHz
Vantage CPU @ 6090MHz
This was it from these first two sessions. Next move is to get better single VGA and do some 4 x 5870 runs!
I try to produce more scores on 2010 than ever before! stay tuned!
Thanks to:
Jimm's: for all possible support in the past and in the future!
EVGA: for the motherboard!
