    GIGABTE 890GPA-UD3H OC testing

So I just got this board today lets see what mischevious things we can do to err I mean with it.

Now the first thing to slap you in the face, well maybe not you but me was this picture boasting 3300+ 06 on the HD 4290 IGP.

Where's that O realllly owl when you need him.

Figured this was likely somthing that would require Cold to acchieve but hey what the heck lets give it a try on air.

    AMD phenom II x2 550
    GIGABYTE 890GPA-UD3H
    OCZ BE 1600 c7
    HD4290 IGP
    pc p&c 1200 turbocool
Stock cpu cooler and misc fans on board.

Second 06 run = 3333 but we don't need that screenshot

Ok 3d looks strong lets rip through the whole 3d bench regime.

I guess GIGABYTE can start claiming 3400+ 06 on the boxes now.

Not sure if this was more painfull for the IGP or me....

Anyway enjoy, more benches to come but I need a nap and some tylenol, got like 3 hours of sleep last night.

Did you have a 790 based board before? How do the OC's compare?

Also what is that thing in your pci slot?

preety sure it beat my 2400 XT with a cpu at 6gig on ln2 LOL, that would likely be the type of card tossed in a mediacenter.

Nah no need for ln2 on this, phase on cpu/di on gpu likely max it all the way out, tbh anymore than that is a waste of resources.

The 2400XT was run by hicookie for a gag in 06 at 6+, think it hit 1500 points in 06.

Sure but usually i'm a fly by the seat of my pants type guy, but when msimax comes up it's usually something with at least a days notice.

    Np man.

    Ok moving on.

Prime stable, seem to have neither lost nor gained anything clockwise from data I have collected on this chip.

Swapped to my tru 120, also might note that ram clearance is fine in the back slots for ram with tall spreaders.

    4.5 is easy

So I was doing some air comparisons when i stumbled onto some serious 3d03 performance. Looks like this is one of the boards strong points.

I tossed the system on phase and grabbed a quick #6 2x 4850 spot on the bot with 2 4850's on air in 03.

Anything in particular anyone wants to see tested feel free to ask, i'm just sifting and running stuff no rhyme or reason, mainly searching for bug's issues etc etc.

Atm it appears that NB/ram clocking needs a little work but other than that no major issues yet.

Will give it a shot but most ddr 3 boards have issues with that, plus it's tied into ram compatibility and this board needs a little work in that department.
