BOINC ALWAYS insists on doing units in the wrong order

Hey guys, have a look here to see what I mean

    http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...ingunits-1.png

As you can see, 4th and 5th are still idle, with #6 is active already. Sometimes it'll do one of the units almost right at the bottom of the list (they're in chronological order, so ). Of course, the higher up in the list the closer they are to deadline, so it'll skip one with a deadline today and rather do a unit with a deadline eight days from now. I haven't missed deadlines yet, but I don't like it being quite so close to doing so. Any idea how to force it to do the units in the 'correct' order? I linked to the picture instead of inserting it as I didn't get round to resizing it before uploading (2048*1536).

Your work cache is too large.

You don't need much as WCG rarely goes down at all and it has not been down for more than 6 hours at any one point in time in over a year.

BOINC only tries to connect once every few days, so I have my cache set to a week. After this I'm changing it though

Lower your cache. Set the "Additional work buffer" lower.

I know how to do it, I'm the one who set it to a week I have it on three days now.

I think three days is still too much. It happened to me once when I set it to 2.5 days. Now it is just on 1 day.
