Bloodrage GTI will not post or show LED Debug codes

So I sold this motherboard to a friend, fully working before I took it out, I took care of it, packed it nicely and when he got it he tells me that he cannot get it to post/show LED Debug codes. I told him to take the CMOS battery out etc... and make sure the CPU was good and ram also, he still could not get it to post anything so I took it back to test with my hardware, same thing, won't post, beep, nor show LED codes. I do remember before I shipped it out, I set the jumper to Vbat Discharge, I THINK I might have accidentally turned the PC on and the manual specifically states to not turn the PC on or have it plugged in while the jumper is set to Discharge. Is it possible I killed the battery and that makes it not post?

Oou.. its possible youve killed BIOS chip.. By the way.. did he set the jumper back?

It works now, it had a bent pin that was barely bent any and I also replaced the CMOS battery.
