Someone on these forums already has it and is doing a SFF build log w/ it. He is going to try to get his 5870 to fit in his case w/ it. I'm liking the look of the ASrock.

actually "terminator card" )'cos it terminates first PEG slot re-routing all 16 lanes to the second, is the most elegant and cheapest solution to do this splinting/re-routing

I'm always for making a smart savings and make the most affordable mobo as possible! Of course full evaluation would be to check out others implementation. Is it ONLY 8x8, or do they use additional electronic, controllers and BIOS code for splitting?!

    BTW
    Great thread!! Keep on updating!
Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in an upcoming release of Flash Player following the release of Flash Player 10.1.

lol I think you know old school AMD guys when they see a flash of green and orange and their like memories. My Dads epox 8NPA SLI is still running but I don't quite trust his rig so thats what I'm looking to replace his with mine so I have an excuse to finalllllly come back to AMD. Even if it is before the six core chips are out. I'm really hoping for a solid 890gx board $100 or under.

Shouldn't be a problem. MSI is releasing the 890GX-G45 and Biostar the TA890GX-XXX, both will be Micro ATX and pretty basic, so i'd assume those to be around the $80-$100 price range.

Some will. But as far as a being a feature on SB850, I don't think it is.

I like Biostar a lot I've built a few rigs with them but I always call them out on this. Their highend AMD boards are waaaaay to lack luster when you even compare them to P55 boards. Kind of a slap in the face. That board better get some bad ass cooling or I'm going MSI for sure.

I'm a fan of BIOSTAR's basic look. It just looks badass to me.

So if they offered that board with cooling like the MSI has you'd opt for a 2002 looking version instead? C'mon!

There top end X58 and P55 boards had good cooling, as well as some of there AM3 boards. There 785G and 790GX's where sub par as far as cooling goes.

When are all these going to be available? Looking at the Biostar or MSI matx boards, assuming DFI stays quiet.

You think both will be 890FX? That wouldn't make much sense to me.

Asus seems to enjoy putting out many high end/FX models. Different price points I guess. Wouldn't surprise me.
