i think that im going to skip it, as there are already cheats, it has securom for a multiplayer game with a bound cd key (and that helped fight piracy as it was cracked 5 days before its out and the same day as the leak)

maybe when the 4 pack is up on steam and if they remove securom i would get it

which major FPS games doesn't have cheats?
doesn't matter when they are out, a nicely administrated server will take care of cheaters.

EVERY game protection have been cracked, doesn't matter when it's been cracked
nobody can goes on legit multiplayer server with a generated key.

so what do we do now? i know what I'll do go back playing bfbc2, because i need to finish single player before multiplayer is out!

if they remove securom or when its cheaper i think i will get it, paying $50 to break my computer and have install limits and logins is not something that im going to do, maybe $25-30 to break my computer and play a game

Thought there was no install limit with Steam version?? Aslo, whats up with the 13 hour wait to download on Steam???

For the amount of hours you will play BC2 it is very cheap. On the whole games are generally 5+ hours of gameplay. At ~$50 a game that is a bargain. Consider it against going out to a bar and paying for drinks.

I consider such purchases as my entertainment budget.

it installs it on all platforms but removes it when u uninstall except for the service and reg key that u can only remove with tools from MS to probe the kernel that they dont have publicly out out of shop or u have to reinstall windows

That is garbage I bought it and technically it was suppose to be released 3 hours ago.

When is the install limit a problem?!

And yeah the DRM crap sux, but i didn't want to miss this great title just be course of the DRM. And i liked it.

OMFG, what is up with steam/ea online servers???? "Failed to connect"???? I certainly get the "FAIL" part.... These people need to get their act together, like they didnt know to expect this much server traffic.....

I'm having a hard time with Punk Buster. It keeps posting errors and a manual update seems to not work. Might this be a Windows 7 x64 problem?

sometimes u have to copy the pb files to the syswow64 from the system 32 folder
