    Minimalistic Silverstone TJ07

    Hello

I have decided to re-build my current rig into a TJ07 as my previous case was far to small for my liking.

    Q6600
    4GB Ballistix PC2-6400
    2 Raptor 150GB
    1 WD Caviar Green 1TB
    ABIT IP35-Pro

Here is where I'm at so far.

I decided to strip down the case and have a go at spraying it in matt black.

I think it has come out extremely well, very happy with the results!

I used some standard grey primer and matt black, took me 6-8 coats with the first 2 using the primer.

That is where I'm at now, awaiting delivery on my 750w Silverstone SST-DA750 and MDPC-X braiding.

    Updates to come!

    Thanks for looking.

I have done all the braiding I can do for now because I ran out so won't be able to finish it off untill next week.

Still alot of little bits and bobs to finish and touch up but for now it is alive!

Sorry for the awful quality I shall take some pictures again today outside in daylight as that will produce best pictures.

Changing all the screws and rivets to black ones today as not much else to do until braiding arrives.

Nice paint job - looks like you will have a very clean-looking setup.

Looks good except for the last picture; take out the LEDs in that bay or something. The other pictures look pretty good.

It is a good paint job, but I have spent some time changing things and once you take the screws back out it does chip away so I will definitely be giving the internals a whole new re-spray with some proper primer in the summer tbh, don't get me wrong though it does look amazing and the few little niggles proberly wouldn't annoy some people but it does me, and its an on going hobby so I enjoy changing things etc anyway!

Agreed, I will be removing the LEDs at some point for sure.

I'm still unsure if I like the black/blue contrast, I know I still need to route the cables a whole lot better and also my heatshrinking skills still need work hehe but for now I'm happy with it, will delve back inside in summer to make it perfect when re-sprayed.

I also wanted to change the fans to the Silverstone Suscool series as I bought 6 120mm of them, but realised the backs are 92mm fans and they only do them in 80mm/120mm (Suscool) so I'm thinking how I can get 120mm in the back. (I did buy some 92mm to 120mm Nexus fan adaptors but they just won't fit underneath each other, I might get 2 of the Suscool 80mm fans if I can find a fan adaptor from 92mm to 80mm.
