    Holy sh- what?!

Now that i have your attention,

Im trying to find a fan controller, one with 6 or 7 controls, has a display for fan speeds, and has one display for a temperature. Maybe even presets for "silent" "gaming" or "Max"

Does this thing of beauty exist?!

Forget those and get the Koolance controller board with expansion. It will do 6 fans, 2 pumps and a crap load of temp sensors and has a display on your desktop. I love it.

Nope, not for a post header like that. We are a bit more tainted to approve of such weak headers or a bump ask in less than 24 hours.

Try to source for an old school DigiDoc 5. It thermally controls up to 8 fans and displays 8 temps and voltage readings. Just sold mine after upgrading to a Matrix Orbital GX Typhoon.

    Here's one on Ebay -> http://cgi.ebay.com/MacPower-DigiDoc...24135002r18473

    Um, Yes it does.

    Features:

    * CNC milled from blocks of 3/4" thick solid aluminum
    * Bring out that full aesthetic appeal you always wanted in the 5.25 inch bay
    * Four knobs to control four 3pin channels
    * User's choice of displaying Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Voltages for the bottom line readout

Very interesting, how well do these work compared to standard fan contollers?

I am in the process of mounting and using this board, there will be pics at some point ij my build log but this controller is a little unique in that you can control your fans, pumps, and just about everything else from your OS
    that makes me happy.

I think it works great. If it had an external display that would be great, but otherwise I don't think I could ask for more. The only thing is that it only works with Koolance temp fittings. It comes with temp probes, but if you want one to measure your water temp you will need to use the Koolance ones.

Latest version software lets you set a delta for each temp probe. You'll need to do a bit of legwork beforehand (find out how much is the difference between actual temp and XXX temp probe + TMS200 reported temps), but after that you can use any temp probe you wish.

    Sorta on topic...
-Disingenuous topic is kinda irritating. If you're telling us to not take your posts seriously in the future then...well done I guess?
-"Linky for the lazy bum?"...also kinda irritating.

C'mon you've posted here enough to know your way around the forums. There are many topics on fan controllers, a search would turn up plenty of results.

I actually just installed a sunbeam rheobus extreme in my machine today to replace my Lamptron FC-2, and I'm a lot happier with it. FC2 just caused too much trouble with the squealing.

The only thing I first noticed about the lamptron FC5 is that it needs an adjustable contrast.
I haven't played with it much yet, just a quick trial.

I like the idea of the Koolance controller, would be nice to be able to add a display as well. EDIT: fan controller section can only support 2A per ch I guess most could manage with that, approx 4 fans/ch depending on fans

EDIT: Aquaero 4.0, but I do not think you can find it in the US
