    Those are some decent X6 scores bynext ...

    Not sure how cold it gets in Brazil, but it is getting to be winter down there right?

    Pick a cold (chilly) night and put your water cooled rig outside , thats how I got my best score...

    Reguardless... Thats a nice 1090T you have!

    you are very conservative with voltage, for benchmark and your cooling is 1.55V no problem...Now u are as my best score with my aircooled Thuban

    i tried everything but i couldn't reach 4.4ghz even with 1.5v or 1.55v... I think this is the limit for 27 degree celcius.

    I'm not sure how good your cooling is but if you have a hefty water cooling setup then up to 1.625v should be fine for benchmarking on thuban in short periods.

    My watercooling setup : mcp655 + ek top + rad xspc rx240mm+ koolance hx-cu1020h 360mm + heatkiller 3.0 +micro res + universal waterblock xspc for my gtx 570.(1/2''tube)
    I'm think that heatkiller 3.0 is too restrictive and i have poor fans.
    i bought some ultrakaze 3000rpm 133cfm and i will try again.

    I run a Heatkiller 3.0 on my AMD setup...intel setup there is no need/want for WC.

    I was fine temps wise on Thuban even under 1.6v in Prime95 etc. with just a CPX-Pro and GentleTyphoon 1850 RPM.
    The thing to worry about more is PWM/mosfet temperatures due to power draw, same goes when running Bulldozer. An Antec Spot Cool or similar over top of mosfet heatsink would not be out of question.

    Zeus: Vishera is really much better than Zambezi, clock for clock 5-15%, this is not bad for refresh. Only superpi is worse (i dont know why...because Hexuspi is better at Vishera again), others is better

    Nice work Roger!

    What's the CPB VID on that one? Mine's 1.425V here and I have the feeling yours is probably around 1.35V or so.

    These are "old" sample parts which are generally not that great.
    The Pb0/Pb1 PState voltages are generic:

    Fused base freq VID (PS0) - 16 VID == Pb0 VID (16*0,00625 = 0,1V)
    Fused base freq VID (PS0) - 12 VID == Pb1 VID (12*0,00625 = 0,075V)

    The base VID on that chip was 1.35000V so the Pb0 VID is 1.45V and Pb1 VID is 1.42500V.

    IIRC

    Hm, interesting. I assumed mine was a lot worse than yours, but it might just be an error on my side. I can only do about 6300 8c8t and 7500 2c2t with a 1.425V VID.

    Wow Stilt, awesome score! Vishera truely is better in CB 11.5 than Zambezi. Was the low CPU-NB and low ram frequency done on purpose?

    That's frikken awesome Stilt!!!

    Zeus asked me to show him a 9 on water with the 8350...
    I've pushed pretty hard and managed to get it (barely) at ambient temps of 23c.

    For any noobs, do I think I can get these clocks stable, Hell NO!
    But it's still a lot better push than I could get with the 8150...

    You know what's weird Zeus...

    I'm still running at those clocks, and things seem to be OK!
    Temps are within reason too... Maybe this chip has a little more in it than I originally thought...

    Yes, I was low on LN2 so had to find the max CPU frequency quickly.

    to be honest, if that setting can run any app or game, I could stick with it. Prime95 is not important for me because I dont use it

    Knowing that this can do 9 on CB, the cpu would be powerful multithread worker in any workflow!
