Didn't even notice this the first time I looked at it. Indeed that does make it look awful. You would think Prolimatech would know better. The Megahalem was a very sexy looking heatsink.

I hate the name and the label on the top of the heatsink. Sounds to be way too cheesy.

Other than that, I would like to see its performance offerings.

For me I've seen absolutely massive heatsinks, so big its not practical. Surely if half you guys are harping about its design flaws why can't you wait for reviews to see what it performs like. It has enough heatpipes yet the heatsink seems to be smaller. For me I would like a high performance cooler without having to worry if the damn thing would fit or would it hit the ram sinks or stop the side panal of my case from shutting.

Well there were a lot of nay sayers even when the vex was announced....I'm going to wait for the reviews before saying anything...as of this point, unless this is close to the vex or beats it, I don't thinl prolimatech would release it.

    Same here.

But yes, I'm willing to try it. Because for us Gigabyte X58-UD5 and X58A-UD7 users, we need a thin HSF.

^Werd. The fan clip on the UD7 with the Megahalems is resting on my first RAM module a bit.

If that cooler is better than the Megahalems I'll buy it but before installing it I'm polishing off that stupid "Armageddon" off the top.
