Im really debating about getting my hands on a Mac pro tower case and building my computer inside of it, i dont know why i want to but i think it would look just amazing... i currently have a tj-07....

Does anyone know where i can get a mac pro tower? just the case...

preferibly one of the revised versions that looks like:
    Project: HeadShot

16GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Ram
    Crucial M4 128GB / Intel X25-M 160GB / WD 1TB Black
    Corsair AX850W PSU
    27" Apple Cinema Display (2560x1440)

It does take some work, but it is really beautiful, and can fit an E-ATX mobo if needed!

Here is my Mod. My only regret is not mounting the PSU in the top of the case; which would have given me enough room to mount an E-ATX mobo, and tall coolers.

Just a heads up, you will most likely be wanting a G5 case rather then a Mac Pro, due to is very open interior, and low price.

Swiftech Apogee, MCW-60, Swiftech 655, Black Ice GTX 360

Very nicely done with your unit, looks great. i do see that the g5 sells for a bit less but my thing is that i love looking inside my case so i would need those plastic parts from the mac pro tower like the one in my pic, i thrive on the inside look of my pc ... i would probably install a side window aswell XD

Yup, but the sad thing is that it would only fit mATX boards without MUCH modding.

Yes, that will look very nice. Remember to get those OEM Mac Pro PSUs also, or else there will be a black chunk out of all those stuff.

    Which plastic parts are these?

For a G5, you can pull the HDD mounts on the top and throw the PSU up there. I didn't because I couldn't get the metal divider out; but now I found out it is possible to easily remove it.

To get mine I put out on Craigslist an ad for $60 for dead PowerMac G5's; it took a week, but it was only a 5 minute drive! Also, you could go to your nearest Mac retailer and ask if they have any they are tossing out. My local one just has the cases recycled (the ones that aren't under warranty that is).

for the price you should get the 4 hard drive cages and dvd cage but for the results you want from your build you would be beter of with a dead Mac Pro with everything in it so the best bet would be to try and find one from some local mac forum or something maby without memory prosessors and hard drives but with the all other internals...
