    AMD DDR3 suggestions?

Reference URL: Best ram for AMD platform

I am building the following desktop, but the major loose end for me is deciding on RAM,

I am wondering, based on the Phenom II X4 and AMD 790GX chipset... what is the best/cheapest possible Ram I should get (at least 4GB)
Who is the best IC manufacturer? E.g. Elpida or Micron, etc in the Dual Channel configurations?

    Thank you!

corsair r nice...QA is right on target :p check out xtreme bandwidth section for ddr3 memory recommendations

i recently purchased the corsair xm3 2x2bg drr3 1600 7-8-7 kit for $115 and it does stock specs, still testing OC with my new asus 785g evo mobo

i was gonna go with cheaper g.skils ripjaws or evo's 1.35v kit but corsair quality seems to better.

seems like the corsair dominator gt's ddr3 2000 cas 8 kit r really overclocking nicely. i think there elpida correct me if im wrong... there more expensive but thats comes with good quality OC kits

msi, asus and gigabyte seem to be good bets for mobos and make sure you get C3 revision cause it has a better IMC

    hope ths helps some what

also i think theres a thread showing the performance difference between 1333 5-5-5 and 1600 6-6-6

Ive heard good things about the corsairs, but have never owned any. Also the gskill isnt as good as it once was, I believe. OCZ has some great black edition memory, that syncs with AOD 3.1 very niceley.

    My OCZ black works good

Just make sure you put it in slot 3 and 4. It works runs at 1600 spec timings.

Slot 1 and 2. Is no post at 1600. Also unstable at ddr3 1333 with out timings and voltage messing around. Slot 3 and 4 perfect no problems.
