    New BIOS chip for Distroyer???

so I flashed to the new G14 BIOS on my main BIOS chip, and now it doesn't work... when I turn it on the fan on my video card spins full blast and has 3 red led's lit(HD4870) the computer doesn't even try to post... how ever when I force BIOS 2 it posted with no problem. I then used the fox live updated to re-flash the main BIOS again but it did not fix the problem. I'm just out side of warranty (not that I think this is covered any way) is It possible to get a replacement BIOS chip?..

I'm going to get an older BIOS and try to flash it again...will comment back if it works..

Was the bad flash caused by Live Update. I also had a bad flash with live update, now use usb to flash bios.
Hope Bios chip is ok like you pass warranty.

Bad flash from live update same happen to me was able to flash back to P16 with USB. Live update in windows not a good idea for flashing bios. I do not belive it broke my bios chip (one) did how ever give me checksum error
which caused other issues. Lord Trident you said before do not use windows to flash bios cd or usb best way to flash.

yes i think dos flashing is the best way
windows flash should work but remember windows can get in the way and some antivirus can stop it flashing as well

so safe to do from dos so usb key, usb floppy, dos hardisk, or cd am sure there other way to flash.
plus always clear the cmos down to ensure everything is reset

well I'm back to square 1...it seems It only last for the first start up, I did not change any settings I left them at default.
perhaps it doesn't like my AM2 x2 CPU?

Make sure you "load optimised defaults" after a flash as well.

If you're loading bios save profiles as well, better to write them down and then input them after a load defaults as well.
