Where to Put Two Subwoofers.

I'm going to be using two subwoofers with my home theater. I was wondering is there a good way to set them up?

* Run each of them on one side. What I mean is.. Run one subwoofer off the right front speaker, and one off the left front speaker.
* Run a splitter for each Sub.
* Just use the two outputs provided by the receiver for both subs.

Once that is decided, I've heard it's best to have the subs on opposite sides of each other. Unfortunately do to the room design this wont be possible. Are the other beneficial options? Thanks!

Not much info on the room except that its limited, so its impossible to advise something specific.

Yes, opposite with listening position in the middle is usually the best , or you could crawl around and check with your ears.

And if your receiver has two sub outputs, i dont see why not to use them.

Run subs outside the front speakers, and use the line-level LFE inputs as well as the direct inputs, if the sub has them, on the "B" channel. If the sub has a port, or speaker faces toward the listening area, face it towards the wall, preferably in the corner.

doesnt really matter that much move them around till u get good acoustics also try flipping them 180 out of phase to get better projection.

ive used a 12/10 infinity with HT system and there is too many things that can affect the sound I.E. Couches walls other things that affect sound. subs arent that bad being that the sound passes thru stuff.
