    OPAMP upgrade help

    So i currently have a Claro Halo, with the xt but thats not being used. I can swap the OP Amps and i've been wondering about swapping them out. i've done some research but im still a bit meh about buying some new opamps on my own. any help is appreciated.
    Here is my setup if needed:
    Claro Halo
    Yamaha HS-80m monitors
    polk audio psw505 sub
    ultrasone dj1 headphones

    Well tbh. The best thing to do is to somehow try and find a way tolisten to your card with different OPAMPS. Maybe a specialised audio shop will have the OPAMPS and possibly you could bring your card in and your headphones and see if theyll let you listen to em.

    Peoples perception of sound is very different. Individuals hear things differently and some OPAMP's will sound great to some people but horrible to others.

    Godofwar424 is absolutely correct! I'll add that not only is everyone's hearing different, as you change your sound system, different opamps will affect them as well. Example; What worked great for my cans wasn't so awesome for my Receiver and speaker's sound stage.

    The easiest way to solve this is to order several opamps from Digi-Key or MCM electronics, they range from $.20 to $20 so we aren't talking about something stupid like paying $300 for a $125 motherboard hehehe! There's NOTHING like hands on tests to see what you like best=P One man's sweet sounds are another man's noise.

    Thanks for the help guys. I'll try to find a pro audio shop around here. i think i found one near me in SoHo, im in manhattan btw. And exactly. when i got my monitors i was debating of getting these over some genelecs but i loved the yamahas.
