Newbie help!

So, been a long time since I said I would join, but I could never get it to work on Vista (now I have win 7)

Got it up an running (I think). Are there any settings I should change to maximize points?

Any other tips?

I'm not an expert but I've been told running multiple virtual machines, each running DIMES is a fast way to gain points. I just have it installed as a service on each of the machines in my house, its working even thought I don't realize it.

Get TinyXP and you can run it in a VM with only 48MB of RAM so you can run 24 VMs on one machine.

also, you need to look at some of the older posts of for the last year, there is a bunch of tips and tricks to get the most out of dimes.

one of the best ones is VMWorkstation, its free for 60 days, set up your vms, put a master one on a thumb drive, and youll be able to look at the vms after the 60 days. before the 60 is up get vmplayer, to keep all the vms going and your golden for as many vms as you can put on each rig, as long as you have the memory for it....
