    Thank you so much

We had this card in short time that's why we didn't make any vmods of memory.

    Vmod's up!

    EDIT:

I forgotton the controller for memory.

Please measure this point to GND too.

There is a picture with pleaces where are controllers for GPU and MEM.

    thanks bro

vMEM i got uP chip is there(I should have to check the volts or ?)

But for vGPU uP* chip is a bit different ,its uP6207A1

    By searching Google about uP6207A1

Sapphire uses this controller on every custom made ATI Graphics Card
Here used on Sapphire VaporX HD4870

If anybody needs HQ pics i can provide

Second is better, because it is multi-turn and vmoding with it is more comfortable and accurate...

You can certainly make it work with the trimmer but as Kubis17 mentioned you won't get anywhere near the resolution that the multi-turn version will give you (for example if you turn the trimmer pot a tiny bit you will get a big resistance change, the multi-turn pot takes much more turning to get the same change in resistance values). Please correct me Kubis17 if I've got this mixed up? If you can't find one of the multi-turn pots than it might be best to figure out exactly what resistance value you need to get the voltage where you want it (instead of trial and error once its hard-wired in). That would probably be the safest way to do the voltage mod using a trimmer instead of the multi-turn pot. Good luck man and please keep us posted of your progress!

I would be willing to ship the parts out to you (where ever you live) but the shipping charges would cost more than the pots (variable resisters), that is the only drawback of importing them from here in the States!

Similar chip is used on my 5850 Toxic, and I think on the 5870 Vapor-X rev. 2.

Would a pencil version of this mod be possible? Soldering things so small is beyond my experience and tools.

Edit: Hmm, i think I see a way to alter the voltage by bridging the VID select pins with conductive paint.

those volt controller used in 5870 Vapor-X rev. 2 does have more pins on each side ,so its bit impossible to do that ................
One of our kind m8's have also done it here
