    Clear as mud
    Drain is boring
    Filling i like it
    Bleeding is instant,just few seconds.

Should i use any quick disconects there?
What do you mean "clear as mud"?

I use Quick Disconnects myself (QDC)
16mm (5/8") Extreme Flow between my box and external rad.
there is a bit of water loss but not much.
I also use a T line so bleeding is slow.

I plan to but my rad box in another room, put small holes in the walls to run the lines. I will probaly use QDC on both ends, but there will of course be some preasure loss for using them.

reason I put the rad box in another room is beacuse I can then dump the heat in another room as well as keeps the noise to a minimum.

as for "Clear as mud" If something is as clear as mud, then it is very confusing and unclear.
I use it a lot sarcasticly
it is an expression to say I understand.

Where is the convinience of QDC?
Gives you adv. to change or replace the ext. cooling w/o any drain progress?

If someone pull strong the hose from outside (balcony)
    my pc will say goodbye!
    I should put 2 QDC there,i think.

well because my case is a beast LIAN-LI PC-201B and its fully loaded, 12 harddrives and dual powersupplies it is a bit hard to work on. I don't want to have to move it and the external rad box at the same time if i want to do any work on either of them.
hence my need for QDC. it makes my life easier.

edit: yes my PC is very heavy
also if you lost water from your system, unless it poured into your PC, your system would(should) just overheat and reach its thermal maximum and just shut down.
I had that once when my external rad got disconnected from the power and my machine shut down. took me 5 minutes to figure out why.

    Nope i don't
I have to redo the watercooling since it looks like sin. since this is my work computer (i work from home) everything is usually a quick job to get it running.
but I'll try to find time this weekend (highly doubtful since I just bought a new house and completely redoing the basement to get my office down there.)
    but i will try.

from looking at your case design, I can't help but wonder, where does the DVD drive go?
Hardrives? where will they be mounted?
you have created a really nice clean box.
something that can be used for many things.

I'm also considering an external box for my hard drives,
and this design would work for it as well, as soon as i can figure out how to get a back plane for the sata hot swap while also water cooling all the drives.

Easy to mount an SSD drive in there, anywhere really. If nothing else just
tape it to one of the panels with doublesided tape. I havent used a 5.2 DVD
drive for almost 2 years. Only need one for installing games etc. an usb drive
is enough and it's easy to use whenever needed.

    -Edit-
And im using a Lian Li V-2000 which has room for what...10 DVD drives and 20 HDD's, lol.

7 dvd drives and 12 HDDs should be very loud...
    If it's for buisness ..ok
But if it's for entertainment and pron i don't agree
you could be fine with a 256gb ssd.
For many people dvd is also no need.
HDD Terabytes freaks care only about downloading and keep movies
as archives that they will rarely or never watch again.
When they will know that Data (music, pics, video) is something endless on web and life is not so long.We can't keep everything on HDDs.No reason to save anything useless.
    This is just my opinion.
    It's not offence for Madhacker.
I was same long time ago when i saved everything i see around because i want to say.. Look how big is my Data.I have 7 HDDs (each category)
Now i'm fine that i use only 100gb out of 160 (intel x-25m raid 0)

That style of space is for server.
You can remove all hdd cages and 5.25 bays and build a cooling system.
Put an iwaki pump, 3 x 4.120 feser rads and some fans.

Ok I exaggerated the amount of drives a bit but you get the point.
Theres still room for HDD's and a DVD drive in my setup, but get along with
an Intel X25-M and an usb drive. Don't have to worry about cabling them either.

well I do have 10 Harddrives running.
    8 1TB drives in raid 5
1 for boot, 1 for data. and 1 disconected.
I also only have 1 DVD drive, I have 2 empty harddrive cages that i use to just blow air into my system.
but that gives me room for 9 more hard drives, just need a bigger raid card. 16 channel or 24 channel. but priccy.
the loudest thing in my machine is my video card, next loudest is the fans to keep the harddrives cool.

    edit: picture of my case

    Nice work Costas!
though its a pity you didn't powdercoat that beast imho
    it would definately last longer
plus you can achieve a perfect uniform satin finish as well.
If you're interested let me know
and in case you come by the store (Multi Extreme-Piraieus)
you can check all the Koolance & Feser goodies (quick disconnects etc)
    plus the watercooled psu's...
before buying something you might not use in the end.

plus i got all sorts of 5,25" and 3,5" racks from Lianli cases to spare
    already black powder coated
    with screws and everything
yours for free if you wanna use them.

    καλη συνεχεια

Really looking great so far. DIY cases make IMHO the best and most functionaly cases ever. Your case is somewhat similar to the one I just drew up in mspaint, I'll have to render it in sketchup or something. To bad I won't be able to build it for at least 6 months.

Please tell me more about powder coating
    Although it's too late,right?
Do we get a better result instead of paint.
If you mean about colour's durability i want it to tell you
that is strong enough the colour using varnish too but
not great. If i hit strong using something sharp then i will loss colour.
If using much force for scratching with my nail, no problem.
Another user of XS said that using anodized aluminum from begin
could be easier and better result.I wanted but here...papala.
I have lived in Piraeus 4 years cause of my university.
Last month i visit it for some exams.
    I went both Multirama
    Stournari-Piraeus
but i couldn't find anything of the above you mentioned except
Feser one coolant which i bought, although for now i'm using WFI water
plus some TRUE Silver Bitspower Barbs.
I found this mix very convenient.

something I can not seem to find in this thread is how thick is the steel sheets you used in this project.
