This is probably good news for eBay buyers without PayPal.

eBay is now offering new eBay Buyer Protection. You do not have to use PayPal to use its PayPal Buyer Protection anymore.

What happened to PayPal Buyer Protection?

PayPal Buyer Protection on eBay existed only for eBay customers who paid for their purchases through a PayPal account. Now purchase protection and issue resolution for your eBay purchases will be managed by eBay, for all eligible payment methods.

i guess this means ALOT of people will now stop using paypal, or ALOT of sellers will only accept paypal.

So ebay is looking for more ways to overcharge for transactions. Aren't they already tremendously buyer friendly enough???
