[Simple Worklog] Antec 300 and BIG rad.

Well this is just some basic stuff, no fancy lighting, paintin or heavy modding.

Just going to mount the rad to cases right sidepanel (dat one behind mobo), maybe cut mobo tray a bit and doing little mountings for pump and water reservour. And possibly DIY NB block

So here's the basic ingredients:



Antec 300
Phobya Xtreme Nova 1080
4M of white 13/10 tubing
8x 13/10 compressiong fittings
12x Silverstone 12cm F121225SL fans, (3 of em in the case and rest is on the rad)
1x Lianli 14cm LI121325QW-4-A, replaced antecs original 14cm fan.

And the HW and rest of the WC stuff:
Xeon W3520
-Apogee GT + Dunieks LGA1366 mounting plate
DFI DK LanParty X58-T3eH6
Geil DDR3 1800MHz CL8 6GB kit
Asus HD4670 512Mb T.S.E (The s0lid Edition , 1025/1065 24/7)
- Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo
Corsair HX520
Bunch of HDDs
12v DCC pump with orig cover (get new one asap)
Some water reservour, no rly i've no idea about it's model

And yea, the pic(s) are on my own server so they migth not load fast... Or at all in the worst scenario

Well i'm not, that one goes out side the case, mounted to right side panel with standoffs, just wondering will the case stand propelly (or at all) when all the weigth is on the right side of the case :P

What comes to board, just fine, 190-200blck, no prob. Tho today i got new rams, 1800Mhz Geils, damn this board hated Microns, barely ran 1200(600)Mhz propely.

Now i've some time to work with this case

This weekend i'll atleast do this:

-Make holes for the rads mounting
-Drill the standoffs new holes (i've some plastic ones which only have like 2.5mm holes)

-Sleeve the fans cables

Then i could start putting this thing together.

I like that case as well - used it for our daughter's setup, and noticed how clean it is, with little to no extra BS.

Yep, i've built couple (40-50) computer into these cases, one of my favourite cases, since it's well finished and it's simple case + you can hide cables pretty well.

That rad is in a word....ridiculous! It should be up to the cooling haha

I also love the 300 case, it is just so simple and well laid out, and cheap. HUGE potential though

Nope, i need to order some stuff for this but i'm pretty much broke at this moment, so there won't be progress for a while :/

I don't think that case needs any stand/leg under the rad, since psu and hdds will be at bottom of the case so they hopefully balance case enough.
