Upgrade won't be till the end of the summer or later (new apartment, tuition, possible new car) but thinking something along the lines of 1090t, a 5850, and whatever motherboard I can afford at the time. I realize the heat output of the cpu may not be much more then I have now but I'll be adding in the gpu and the motherboard. Just going along with the thought that more is better.

Can some tell me the space between the end of the hard disk (connector side) and the case panel? I'm looking for a case where I will install three sas disk that are pluged to the adaptec 5805 sas card with this cable
and I don't know if there is much space for it.
Regards
Ugo

I'm considering this case myself, even though I'm not sure if I'll end up doing any WC, and I have a few questions.
First I'll list the main parts I'm considering:
CPU-----i7 930
MB------P6X58d-E
RAM-----Redline 3x2GB 1600 CAS 6
GPU-----GTX 470 (possible dual SLI later on)
PSU-----TX750
HDD-----Seagate 1TB 32MB
DVD-----ASUS Blu-ray/DVD
Sound---X-Fi Titanium (base model)
Questions:
1) Does the front fit two 140mm fans or just one? I get the feeling it's a one 140mm plus one 120mm arrangement like the top.
2) Do the filters do a good job of trapping dust? They look like plastic sheets with holes too large to really stop it. I've used black tent netting to make filters on a couple cases and it lets air flow well and stops dust well, not so sure about these.
3) Does a HDD set in the hot swap bay at the top rattle (one like in list above)? I'm sure this feature may be why they chose to have only 2 bays in the top internal cage instead of 3, but I really don't see why they couldn't have had the static internal one fit 3. There appears to be room for it even with a 240 rad and fans.
4) Would either of the long filters at top or bottom fit the dual fan spots on the side panel?
5) What's the tallest air CPU cooler that will fit if a 25mm thick fan is used as an intake on the side panel?
6) Does this case cool as well as some of the full tower cases on air even with dual SLI? The Antec 1200 still seems to be one of THE reference designs to compare air cooling efficiency. I'm hoping I can come close to what it can do.
My goal is to have slight positive pressure and preferably not draw air in from the bottom unless WCing. So while I'm on air, I'd rather have the passive exhaust vents be at the top and bottom.
On the GPU, I'm considering a Palit dual fan or Zotac Amp that comes with the with Zalman VF3000. The Palit drops temp less than the Zotac, but is dual vs 2.5 slot and may exhaust the heat better with it's dual slot shroud fitting directly onto the PCB, even though the HS fins aren't aligned with the air flow.
I'm a bit worried about the X-Fi base model being exposed. Most I see using this case use an X-Fi that has the electrical shield shroud. Anyone know if an X-Fi base model would have noise problems with the above parts if placed in the top Pci-Ex 1x slot directly above the GPU?
At the $150 price point the X-Fi with the shroud falls into, there's the Auzen X-Fi Forte, but it has no shroud and most vendors are selling it special order now, so I worry about availability and long term support.
Thanks, and I really enjoyed all the pics. I bet the Japanese would even be proud of the efficient use of space in this case.

I have the 690 MKI and the MKII looks a good upgrade. Here in SHanghai the summer temps can reach 40C so I need the fans to keep my system cool in the day with no AC on.
I use the 4-3 incert to space my 5 HDs out to allow good airflow between themselves using alternative slots.
For the external eSATA drives I use a SNOWMAN Aluminium heatsink box that is aircooled by the air coming out of the two top fans.
Looks like the case for me during my next build.

Not done with cable management at all, switching mobo and CPU shortly so didn't put any time into routing/hiding.
@Angelizer: Sexy ass build, I personally hate the sleeve every cable method, but yours looks nice with the blue mixed in and not too messy

My advanced arrived today. I`m so proud with it.....
Especially that I could silence it without compromising the air flow and cooling.
