    Corsair 800D - Cutting suggestion for bottom radiator

    Hello guys,

    Is it possible to cut out a square with the dimentions of a 120mm fan in the bottom of the 800D, where the small cage is - With a dremel tool?

    Yes sir. You can get a perfectly square edge. You will need an extra tool, however--pick up a $3 bastard file from Harbor Freight.

    What extra tool? Bastard file? :S What is that?

    So I can cut a big square on the bottom with a dremel tool?

    Please explan I'm a noob at tools :P

    You can cut with dremel, with metal scissors, with jigsaw .. options are endless. Maybe it's worth later on to put "c" profile rubber edging on cuts though.

    I used a 117mm hole saw for the hole that was not in the meshed area and then used super sharp side cutters for the mesh then finished a semi circle with the dremel then cleaned it up with a file.

    Hole saw all the way for easy and perfection, but costs more. Dremel for low cost but allot of messing around and chance of slipping
