Yeah looks like these cases are only for a quality air build, Definately not purchasing one as 1000$ could get me a tonne of watercooling toys

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

im eye'n a jazz case in white, such a clean design; price is high but wouldn't be a stopper if building a new system from scratch.

Spending $1000 on a case that is aesthetically pleasing then having radiators hang off the back making it unattractive seems counter productive.

Did you check out the Hydra and Rad box built by CD for these rigs?

    That's really cool.

I've been waiting (very patiently) for some case company to realize that there's a market for an external case to house those w/c-ing parts (pump, rad & res).

Make them in full aluminium and in a compact size and I'll definitely be buying a few (at least).

Having those w/c-ing parts in a separate box keeps the mess out of the actual rig and it'll also give much better temps as the rad gets clean, cool air and doesn't exhaust the hot air back to the rig.

Replacing mobo or gfx card will be a breeze too especially if quick-disconnects are used at the inlet/outlet ports of the rig.

Isn't that a question of layout? I mean, it isn't really hard to imagine a case that fits everything, just not all in the same chamber.
Take your favorite case, make it twice as wide (or a bit less), with all computer parts in the left side which looks like any tower case from the side when opened, and water cooling parts in the right chamber.
The only openings between them would be for cables and tubes

That is exactly why i went with the external cooling rad. Maintenance on my machines are a breeze. I can isolate individual loops through the Hydra manifold and service specific items, instead of dismantling an entire loop.

I had this system in the Fireball Soldam I bought from you

I guess it's down to personal preference.

I never liked huge cases (i.e anything larger than a regular mid tower). Would rather have 2 separate cases. I can see more advantages to that than 1 huge case with everything in it.

Looks nicer too (for me at least).

Not sure what this has to do w/ Windy's being available worldwide.

Oh give him a break. This is the closest this board has got to a dedicated Windy thread plus people were actually asking for water builds just a few posts above.

Here's another using the Altium FC700 which is their most "water friendly" case IMO: http://windycj.pixnet.net/album/set/1622834

When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.
