Well ....I have done reviews for the H50, Thermolab Baram, OCZ Vendetta and the Hyper 212+..this is how it stands for me. But please do note that thee were on different processors and ambients..have only tested two at a time.
1. OCZ V2 beat the 212+ on single fan config. The 212+ beat it on 2 fans
2. Baram beat the H50 in all fan configurations that I tried, at around 2 degrees difference taking ambients into account
3. The Vex beat the Baram by 2-3 degrees taking ambients into account.
My conclusion is the Vex should be around 4-5 degrees better than the H50, all other things being equal.
Have used MX2 for all the tests. Hope this helps.

No hard feelings! But trust on that review is volatile, Zalman WTF?

no1 is believing that review, specially not me, they have tested on separate days, methodology is not clear, there is some thread here itself discussing about how pathetic that review is....
Below link has the tests I have done, with single Delta fan, MX2 on all sinks with almost zero curing time for the first test to begin followed by same sequence of testing, same day single mount and controlled ambient by monitoring room temps....In the end Venom beats TRUE by 7C when considering only max temps reached. Avg temp. is far better on Venom than TRUE.

Results are impressive, but still waiting some reliable reviews vs D14.

Maybe D14 will cool better, maybe not. If the D14 cools better, is still HUGE, and for mid-tower users it wouldn't fit at all. Also you have to count in wich mother will fit fine. For those things I believe, plus the nice capabilities in cooling, Venom would be the first in the sight of a lot of users, plus that ThermalRight is almost worldwide know. This last thing, for example in my country, you can find in a lot of stores that they sell TR, but Noctua, if you don't know the brand and ask it for a specific merchant to bought it from, don't know, sidewinders, forget it from looking in stores.
The Venomous-X is suppose to be pretty good by the reviews.
Posted our review today, tested it against the NH-D14, Megahalems, TRUE, Danamics LMX and NH-U12P SE2.
Anyone know if the TRUE plastic fan brackets are compatible wit the Ven-X?

No they are not
Bleh I bought a 212+ for the meantime, while I build up my WC loop. Whats the delta between 212 and the best currently. Should I try to add 2 100 cfm dealtas to 212+ and make it king or what?
If you keep the voltage under 1.4v, for an i7, you should be ok.
I must say I am impressed with this cooler,
down from 34 idle, 74 Prime 95 load with an akasa nero to 24 idle, 52 Prime 95 load with the venomous.
i7 920 @ 4GHz 1.25v
GTX 470 @ 859MHz 1062mv
akasa nero V1 as stated in my post
although I am now slightly annoyed that my i7 D0 won't make it past 18x210 on even 1.2v.
Will try a bit more tomorrow since temps are only 29/58.
UPDATE: so far 4.1GHz @ 1.225v 29/64
UPDATE 2: for some reason it now crashes if I click on sensor test in Realtemp however if I go directly into Prime95 it does fine.
