    Question buying a new graphic card!

    Hey xtreme system this is raptor12321 and its my first post

    im looking to buy a new graphic card for better performance.

    games im aiming to play are AVP and Bad company 2.

    bugget is at a max of $400

    currently using a asus en9800gt

    had a look at GTX275,GTS260+ and the 5770..all in buget help me out!!

    also my best and closest place to get the items is prob ple.com.au in perth wangarra

    Get Radeon 5850. It's be the best bang for the buck, really.

    PS also have a problem with a TssTcorp SH-S233F Dvd witter.. it keeps randomly opening and it pissing me off any one know the problem and cant seem to update the firmware..

    i found a HD5850 @ http://www.foxcomp.com.au/ for $359.00 i might go down there soon and ask them about it i used http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/...=HD5850&spos=3 to find the cheapest price

    It is around 240-300 USD in USA, not sure about AU prices, probably a bit more expensive.

    500gig HDD - Saving for 1T
    xfx 780i - ATM im looking for a decent i7 motherbord

    Last night I had mine running at 1026/1201

    Pretty sick card for the money

    You could wait for new nvidia fermi chip to get on markets so that 5970 will get cheaper.

    You can either wait for Fermi (unknown wait though), or grab a 5850 and overclock the hell out of it.

    In AU all the high end cards are expensive as, Cheapest youll find a 5850 from an online computer store is probably about 400.

    http://skycomp.com.au has the HIS ATI HD5850 for $383 australian, and shipping is $15-$30

    EDIT: Calculated that shipping is $17 to Perth postcode 6000, so thats exactly $400
