Counter-Strike (around 1.3 version or before later it was so fked up..)
WarCraft 3 (that game has amazing story.. never played RTS with that good story)

But theres ton of others.. pretty much every game that Blizzard created, or games which will be great like forever - Fallout 1 and 2 - nothing match them..

PC gaming had great games in past.. less great today, but still there are some exceptional pieces from time to time.. sometimes very suprising - to all Diablo fans I recommand Torchlight

Torchlight was ok, but it soon became just the same ol thing over and over. It was almost like they decided at some point to increase the length of play time by simply adding some more of the same ol stuff.

I dont understand the half life love. I cant think of anyone alive that actually has anything nice to say about the last few levels of the game, or the AI in general. The main character is almost non existant in the plot outside everyones references to him. Everybody just talks to him, he never speaks. And I wont even comment on the AI. CS was, and is the only reason half life sold, period.
