    Two Dragon Wallpapers *NEW INSIDE*

Hi guys, I got bored this weekend so I just finished another wallpaper.

If anybody wants the ATI logo removed and the rest centered again I can do that too and upload in your requested resolution. I still have the original .psd.

This was made entirely in open-source software - www.gimp.org

I tried to be as flexible as I could with the resolutions, however I can not supply a resolution higher than 1920x1200. I'd he happy to upscale the (original) image though.

The JPEG should be as close to lossless as possible, if you want anything better I can send you the .psd

Tell me if you like it!

    Adding to the OP:

I can also replace the "Phenom II X4" logo with X3/X2 and 790FX with either 790X, 790GX, 785G or 770X at request.

I would like a 790x one with the fusion glowing red if possible.

    Nice work Beep...

I agree with Hell Hound though.
Glowing Red "Fusion" with a smaller AMD logo on the left and a smaller 790X logo on the right (just above the toolbar) would be killer!

If your taking orders I run 1920x1200...

Hmm, here it is leaned up a bit. The ATI logo sticks out a little so I removed it but I can easily (in 30 seconds) add it again.

    Thx for the work, BeepBeep2!

I don't usually care for wallpapering my desktop or anything like that, but I thought I might as well do with this time considering that I'm just now getting my dragon stable over 4GHz... took me a while too.

    Cheers!

    It's good.

The RAID array is running strong and these drives are 4 times as fast as my old Seagate...while my cooler isn't exactly able to hold the CPU as well as I liked I can't complain. The Scythe Musashi I got was the best suprise I guess, with my 4850's core at 800 and the memory running faster than ever (stock voltage) it's just great. I've benched a few programs with the core up at 825 but 800 is the max in CCC and I want to keep my modded 2D clocks of 350/600. It idles at 35c, loads at ~55c. It's cooler than my CPU in normal gaming.

It's definately possible, but I'd have to redo the first layer. (The black backround with the Dragon and light in it) It's a bit too much work imo. I'd have to basically start from scratch because I do not have my original .psd with the Dragon still movable.

hmm i like it, but then again i woulkd totally take out hald of it leaveing the dragon, then edit the sphere to a black version of the windows 7 orb, an way you could possibly so something like that? make the the windows logo white, and the inside black, while makeing it still look 3d , may be asking alot

http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/975...ightbyfrez.png thats cool too can you try that XD

with my orginal design it would use this, except inverted. and the window white http://www.victoria.ac.nz/weirhouse/...orb-white1.PNG

    Yeah, you are.

It's hard because the fingers of the dragon overlap the "Fusion" logo so in a nutshell (lehmans terms) I'd have to cut carefully with the mouse out the edges of the windows logo and then make it greyscale...then take the original copy of the flag, cut out the flag only + make the rest transparent then overlay it on the white logo.

It ends up being a disaster.

The reason it was so easy to make the Fusion logo glow red instead was that the whole rest of the dragon was greyscale. All I had to do was mess with the hue of the whole layer (backmost image)

I'm left-handed and while I've adapted extremely well to using my right hand for the mouse I still don't have that great of presicion.

Even getting the AMD logo in the bottom left was hard enough. That logo came with the AMD letters black and behind it was white...plus it was a PostScript file and I had to render it really huge so I could fill in the A M and D with white. I had to turn the backround and inside the A and D red first so they didnt "intertwine"

Really nice job on that, cloud!

I was just saying that even though I can to stuff like I have above I really can't do that stuff due to a shaky hand. Just not coordinated enough in my right hand.

Here is a new one, I worked about 3 hours today on it. It's currently my personal backround.

Edge Detect work on the AMD logo along with fading, corner light with light refracting off of the head neck and wings of the dragon with shadows under belly and feet.
Gradient from head to back of tail, tail signicicantly darker than rest of dragon etc.

AMD Phenom II X4, AMD 790X Logo (I run a 790X board) , and ATI Radeon Graphics logo's are more detailed and color accurate.

    http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/193...ackroundfi.jpg

Due to this one being a personal edit, it is provided as is. I can also upload a modified 790FX logo, remove the Radeon logo, and resize it thats about it. Widescreen only.
