I had the same Problem, When Everything is set to default everything is fine but as soon as I touch the HTT (FSB) Frequency and or the Multiplier it Drops the CPU Frequency. After Trying everything to see if I could get it to do anything I Opened up K10stat and it confirmed my thoughts about it resetting the P-states.

I went into the Bios and tried changing the pstate's and everything else in there but nothing happend and resulted in the same results.

    Htt = P- state change

    CPU Multiplier = P-state Change

Any change what so ever resulted in a Pstate change.

When Booting Everything reads as it should but once into Windows is when the Pstate change occurs.

Other than that the Bios installed without any problems and uninstalled with out problems, Thankyou for working on new Bios's for us Destroyer Owners...Hopefully You can fix this issue

My setup consists of the following:

    Windows 7 32bit
    Phenom II 940
    2x2Gb Mushkin 1066

Is there any particular reason why the BIOS still lacks the option to enable hardware virtualization (also known as AMD-V)?

Not being able to turn that on is seriously killing performance in virtual machines.

no idea may have been many reason
as it was not part of the spec at the time
am sure amd-v come in at a later date so it may be possable that nvidia chipset does not support
but i will try to find out and if we can have it in the next bios

but so you know this the first time someone has asked for it

I'm sorry, WHAT??? None of that made any sense!

AMD-V has been on AMD processors since 2006, the Foxconn Destroyer was released in 2008, so it was part of the spec at the time.

My previous motherboard was a Foxconn C51XEM2AA, which had the much older nForce 590 SLI chipset. It supported hardware virtualization just fine, and had an option for it in the BIOS and everything.

AMD-V has been around a long time, previous Foxconn / nForce boards support it, there's no reason it for it to be missing on the Destroyer.

Edit: I see the G12 BIOS has AMD-V support. Guess it was pretty easy to add after all
