I don't know about that, but it turned out well over my expectations.

    Thank you!

Some rough pics I took in action, when making the first splitter.
I was surprised to find that creating custom cables was this much fun.

Quick mock-up of the routing, the black sata cables are there for checking clearance.

SSD placement, I actually forgot about it, so it'll be integrated in the next splitter.

    The result.

I might get back and clean it up a little later on.

I diden't know they existed, do they?

Went out and checked my mailbox, and found a package from Charles at murderMod.
A million thanks to this truly great guy!

Here is a million pics of the holders, I can't really capture its beauty.

    Clearance is overrated.

These will run straight down under the motherboard once everything else is done.

I'll be back soon with more cables.

Agreed. The black ones don't look that bad, but grand blue would look a lot better .

Yeah maybe, but the black looks pretty good against the 'grande bleu' too, in my opinion.

I don't know, it could be too much.
Anyhow, this wasn't an option so I'm pleased with the combo.

Here are some raw and dirty pics of the second splitter I made.

This time I remembered the sata!

    Excellent work there here Laine.
The res now looks the part with it's new clamps, looks good, nice and stable.

Sleeving also looks excellent too, I like the colour choice of the sleeving you have used, has a nice warm, crisp feel to it.

This will be a build you can be proud of.

I've always been a fan of your dramatic lighting and angles of your shots, Laine.
You make a sleeving job look like an expression of techno-modern meets surreal fantasy.

    Keep sharing!

I've got a feeling this will turn out pretty well, haven't had any big issues to date on this one.

Thanks, they were way more fun to make than they look good.

Thanks man, I'll do a PM round with the studio specs later on, I'll put you on the list.

I'm not a 100% sure what you meant with the last bit, but I take it as you like it aesthetically.

Here's a somewhat random update of various parts, just trying to document everything I do.

Trying to figure out what to fill the front part of the case with, another rad sounds nice but it might mess up the tubing.
    Maybe some kind of cover?

Mind the cabling, most of it won't show when I'm done.

It weights in at 10kg without water in it, that's enough to make me pleased.

You're build is anything but simplicity! I love how clean it's looking and the white and grand bleu adds so much not to mention your photography. Keep it up!

Ah, now I see how you mounted the HDDs in the top - suspension mounts. Hope the zip ties hold!

    Looks excellent though!

Thanks, I'd like to think of it as simplicity since there is nothing in it that goes unused, not a single cable.

It's just temporary to see if everything fits since I didn't use any 3d software for this build.
It will be held in place with proper aluminium mounts.

Due to some personal issues progress havn't been great, but the project is back on track again.

I'm actually quite happy with how the paint turned out, I've always liked a little structure.

    Cheers, for now.

Was having a problem trying to figure which I liked more.......your building magic or the photography and decided on 50 / 50. Then corrected myself it is more like 100 / 100!!

Your right on that Courger the painting and all makes it look like its own little palace.
