Yikes! 359 euros is almost US$500. For that price, this board better be the Classified Killer.

a quick look to price in France :

    P6T7 WS ~380€

    Classi E762 ~430€

    R2E ~300€

I think it's a very good price for the R3E (~360€ announced by Asus).

Any idea when review samples will be available for Europe ?

noone obliges you to buy it anyway... there re people that cashed out more for other brands and got total ripp offs... if it performs and can handle GT nicely , it's price can be justified... no idea if it's april fools but Gigabyte is bringing out an UD9

I ordered mine, thats a good price on this board. Equal to €380 or $500.

I were hoping for a £280-£300 price tag, but everything I read about it made me believe it would cost over £350. £329 is a very good price for the quality of this thing, I dont actually need it for OC'ing though, I need the slot layout.

When using two GFX cards, they go in the 16x slots 1 + 3, giving you 3 slots of space for each, plus room for a soundcard in the 4x slot.

You can run crossfire / SLI prolimatech MK-13s plus a soundcard, which is what I want.

I just read the boards specs and got worried when it stated EATX size, which my case cant handle. But after more reading and measuring, its only a little bit wider at 269mm, and my case has 275mm of space for the motherboard .

It will just be a little more difficult to install.

    I agree totally..
The slot layout is very nice..
Also from what i hear this thing is the same size as the rampage II extreme.
So if your case can hold that mobo or even the classy 760/762 then you will have no problems at all with this mobo.
I truly cant wait for this board to come out in india..
Probably 3 months after the rest of the world

If you think that this is expensive, then what about the Fermi :p.

Good things cost good money, and this is actually significantly cheaper than EVGA's high end FTW WTF BBQ edition motherboards are.

Even 5870s cost around the same, and people dont really complain about graphics card prices that much.
