    Cooler for overclocking Sandy Bridge

I am looking at coolers so that I can overclock my 2600k. 1155 and 1156 are compatible right? Also feel free to post your favorite cooler for this application? I am over in the World Community Group forum so this runs 24/7 at 100% load for...well for ever! I'm kidding but you get the picture.

I figure I better overclock before MM calls...

edit also the next Super Computer week is coming up May 1st. Feel free to join us for that week or become a regular. We are trying to overtake another team and with this next push, we should

any decent air cooler will do mate, running Thermalright VenomousX here ( was 2nd hand ) at 4.6Ghz @1.28Vcore...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Cool. I pulled the trigger on this Corsiar one. Seemed like a good bang for the buck. Free shipping too. Thanks for the reply.

I did little cooler review, and here are the results:
2600K @ 5GHz 1.48v HT on (my old chip was poor overclocker..)

Results are averages of 4 cores and every cooler was equipped with Nanoxia FX12-2000-fans.

    Full review on Google Translate
    (bad translation from google..)

I vote for the Noctua NH-D14, not just because of its cooling prowess but also mounting mechanism. Just make sure it fits in your case.

    Oh thanks guys, sweet!

I just got the A50 in the mail and had to open it. Its a nice piece! I'm going to try and run no fan and see if there is enough air flow from my 2xfront mounted 80mm fans, rear fan and top 120mm fan [Antec Three Hundred]. If not then I'll through that fan on there too!

Theres lots of good coolers, Corsair H50/60, CoolIT ECO, etc. That cooler you went for is also basically a carbon copy of the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus which is cheaper
