Ive been looking at the asrock extreme4. is there a better board in the 250 and under price range that I should be looking at instead?

    Thanks

Asrock Extreme6 maybe? Few extra additions to it and more phases, neither of which are necessary IMO but its still a great board.

yeah that would make sense. Is it at all worth the extra $$$?

How about something from the P8P67 series?

What's the difference between the pro and deluxe? basically same as extreme 4 and 6, more phases, "premo" caps?

I think I'm gonna go with the Extreme4. It's slightly cheaper and it and the P8P67 Pro seem to basically be neck and neck in performance.

edit2: seeing superbiz $10 off and free shipping on extreme6 + 2600K combo plus add'l $10 off with promo code solved my problem. combo ordered.
