    Intel® Core™ i7 920 D0 @ 6GHz

So guys, tell me what the heck is causing these things :P
On my old Gigabyte EX58-UD5 when I past 235,6bclk the TURBO eg one MP dropped. Now on the new Extreme motherboard with the bclk mod, when I go past 235BCLK with setfsb, this happens

Nothing new there, i've had jumps up to 7/8ghz on the same multiplier, jumped to 260-280 bclock
O well, would be more impressive if you benched at that speed

    rofl, not again...
did you guys pmed or email franck already?
once you get bored of this, he should get this fixed within a few days if not hours

btw, the multi dropping at high clocks is probably because the cpu current feedback is reaching the threshold... ie, the cpu pulls so much current that it throttles.
on foxconn qf boards you can disable the cpus current reading and pull as many amps as you want, dont know how gigabyte does it... if theres no bios option then there should be a simple hw mod that disables/fakes the cpus current reading so you can push for more

wondows can't even get stock right....but validated cpuz submissions, kind of makes me think dudes can set their bclk high, then set the multi to 18 or 19x, provoke a multi freakout and take a medal or two at the bot. Who would know the difference?
