    Is my d5 enough?

Been looking around for a minute but couldn't find an answer.

I want to know if my d5 with the EK top is enough to handle: res>pump>120.2 rad>CPU>120.3 rad>gpu full cover block

this seems odd that I would want that much rad but the idea is to expand upon my system one day adding a full cover block to the mobo and possibly a second gpu and block. Or if the d5 is not enough would the 350/355 do any better for my situation.

    Thanks for the help.

D5 can handle it no problem, as long as you don't go doing silly things with routing your
tubing and adding a ton of 90s for example.

It should be able to handle that system pretty well. If you plan on adding a fullcover block and another GPU block, a 355 with top might be worth the consideration. The reason is that although the D5 has a great flow, it will do you no good with a high restriction system. At a certain point, it's better to switch to a 355 with top. Where this point exactly lies, I don't know .

I'd suggest he adds another pump when he increases restriction with additional blocks since switching to another single pump will benefit him less
then adding another one. Furthermore, MCP355 is the most audible, it goes like this D5<MCP350<MCP355, noisewise.

So I'd say, get another D5 with dual top when you add those blocks. After all, you already have one D5, and you would not have to bother selling
    it in this case.

It's enough for that loop. So you don't need two pumps.
All stock for now, no need for more, but it's gonna be soon methinks.

Thanks zile and conundrum. I just put the 120.3 rad on order so that will go in the top of my 800d, pending some modding I will be placing the 120.2 in the lower compartment with the pump.

You use the MCP655-B? Try switching over between setting 4 and 5. If there is a noticeable temperature difference, you'd profit from another pump.

Sure D5 has a great flow, but you'd have a great restriction too with two rads and four blocks in your loop.

Wouldn't getting a new D5 top be an option?

How do you mean a new top? He already has a D5 with EK top.
