    asus maximus formula x38

    im wondering if anyone knows the max temp`s the southbrigde and northbridge chipset is aloud to reach .. beacause at the moment there reaching 50c when i use prime 95 to oc my q6600

    50C For the chipset is fine. Im not sure what the Asus faithful have to say about the max temperature but 50c is well within a normal spec for a chipset. If it starts going above 70c than you might want to stop pushing the NB\SB voltage through

    dont think i has reached 70C so thats ok .. havent touch none of the voltage .. new to overclocking

    50C for nb/sb isn't high temperature
