Looks kick ass so far Dave! I wish I had some woodworking skills. It sure would come in handy around the house. Can't wait to see more.

One thing that got me thinking, how can the pump intake be facing downwards? I always thought the reservoir should be above the pump. I just woke up so maybe I'm just talking nonsense
Well it does make it easier however the res is above the pumps. The two holes on top of the side grills are for mounting a bullseye res

I respect your opinion however the front grill is actually the same pattern as the side grills only magnified. I am not fond of large square see thru windows so I wanted something subtle to break it up. The panel will be blue with light smoked plexi behind it.

Alright so I started thinking about the pump layout after reading woffen's
comments and I agree that while I could fill the system it would be problematic.
This is the exact reason I built the case and then mocked up the inside to see if it all made sense.
After careful consideration I've decided to change the layout slightly.

    Before:

    Now:

I think this will work better all around.
Also I wanted to show how I'm hiding all
    the fan wires.

    First:

    Then sandwiched together:

That creates the groove, then I cut out the fan hole and feed the wire through:

With the fan in the fan is flush with both sides of the case:

Finally the grill goes on (this was only a prototype grill):

    The finished fan:

Also on a positive note my case is pending sale right now!
When I sale it I will upgrade my current rig to a i7 rig.

    Thanks and any comments welcome!

Well I'm back up and running!
Just testing out the new hardware for this rig:

    i7 920 (Thanks WhiteFireDragon!)
    6GB Corsair Dominators
    Asus P6X58D Premium

Windows 7 64 bit up and running first try!

I'm just installing software on the test bench
now and will update in the next day or so.

Well I've been kind of busy but I have a few updates.
First off I received all the fittings to complete the build (I hope!)
I had a crap load in my last MM case and I am pretty sure that I just doubled that amount!

Here's some pics to show how all the water will be run behind the case:

Add up how much just this one connector is!
These fitting are way too addictive.....

Here's one of the side grills:

Side View showing how close the reservoir is:

Here's the control box in its new home.
I still need to cut the cutout in the case
that you see inside the box for the wires to pass thru.

Finally here's the intake grills for the radiators:

Remember the case still needs to be prepped, sanded,
and painted and all the grills are going to be painted
    a dark metallic blue.
Thanks for checking this build out!!!

Looking nice. Cant wait to see how this will end up ^^. I love DIY cases . Are you planning on using how powerful fans? SInce you are using stack rads.

The fans I'm using are the Scythe S-Flex 49CFM.

It's actually quite overkill as there are two loops
that each have two DDC's, an MCR320 and a MCR220,
and six fans each only handling either a CPU or a GPU.

Right now my system is set up on my test bench
with one MCR320 and the temps are great.
    This with a i7 920 at 4Ghz and a 9800 GX2.

    Unhappy

Actually the case and all the parts are at the painters now.

I custom made way more pieces than I originally expected
so it ended up taking longer than planned.

Also I had shoulder surgery so that kind of slowed things down
    a little bit......

Ouch --- I imagine shoulder surgery did slow things down. Hope recovery has gone well.

Please do show us some photos when you get it back from the painting.

It definetly did slow me down and unfortunately
I have to have surgery on my other shoulder in
    a few weeks.

I just bought a D5000 so I should be a ble to get
    some really great shots.

I ended up making over thirty pieces for this case
and all are being painted a deep mettalic blue.
The case itself will be a kind of flat black.

I'll get some pics when I get home, I'm on the
iPhone now so I can't upload them.

Thanks for all your patience!! :-)

Here's a little teaser. I had to figure a way to mount
these two slim DVD burners so.......

    More interesting pictures to come!

OK here is the update you've been waiting for!!
I'll start to put it all together this weekend and
it will probably take a few weeks to finish up all
    the wiring and tubing.

I can't say how happy I am with the paint job.
The pictures don't really do it justice. The blue came
out incredible and the black is a solid flat that just
    makes it look very professional.

    Enjoy!!!! I know I am!!

Thanks for checking this build out!!!!!

Fitseries I'll find out if you want. I picked it out in a paint chart so I wasn't paying attention to the name.
