Something needs to be done with cables. Spoils otherwise wonderful result. Imho also aligning two fan grills on bottom can further improve looks, and so will closing all openings on bottom too .. (maybe with some modders mesh?)
Though then again maybe it's just from this point of view that pic was taken. From side bottom of this case is invisible?
No it just means I can finish up the front panel and figure out what I want to do with those wires.
As far as functionality it is complete though! BFBC2 FTW!!!!

When looking on your 2nd pic with workspace - imho good place to route cables through would be to right side by wall/behind your case, and then down by wall behind your displays. This way they'll be almost completely hidden/out of view. BTW, what do you think of idea of putting DVD and alike drives somewhere in separate hausing on the table? +Power button somewhere there too
- I know, that i'd be too lazy to stand up from chair to change disks
Actually the power button as well as the on/off for the case lighting is on the desk. There is also a Blu ray drive on the desk. The two DVD burners in the case IMHO suck! They slightly nick the DVD's! There part of the case now so they stay but I don't really use them that much.
I have considered putting the wires in the wall and that's the direction I'm leaning right now.

Wow nice build mate, All you need now is a big ass Acrylic window for the front hehe, Do you have a drain port in it? Im not sure if i seen one or not hehe
Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
dude that's incredible. I don't think I've ever seen wood look that amazing painted. What paint did you use?
The drain port is in the back. More pics on that soon!
The wood was professionally finished and painted by the same
shop that paints my brackets. They do a lot of custom car and motorcycle
stuff also so they totally sanded it out and filled in all the grain, holes, and blemishes. You cannot tell it's wood unless I told you it was!
More pics as soon as I get them off my camera!

OOooooh Ahhhhh not exactly MDPC because you didn't go super-$, but it ranks up there with those kinds of builds in my book.
Signatures make my posts look huge... but I'm not humble enough to completely remove my signature, so I kept this note explaining it.
I think I would put a thin panel mounted at least 1/2" away from the wall above the shelf between it and the case stained the same color as your shelf, and route your cables behind that panel and the shelf on the wall somehow. Putting them into wall could get complicated quickly as you need a way to feed them through. The paint job on that is excellent. It doesn't look like wood. Very neat, original, clean build.

It just has to be a beautiful system. Like this.
That second build is my Torture rack!
It's testing a AMD quad core at the moment.
My daughter had a school science project so
we did air cooling vs. water cooling...guess which won??
Those Apple stickers are because all my mobile devices are Apple. Our house currently has two iPhones, one iPad,
one iTouch, and various ipods lying around. I prefer Apple for mobile and PC for desktop.
Just finished installing my Birthday present, an in dash GPS/DVD/iPhone all in one bad ass stereo!
I will have some pics shortly when I get the bottom grills on.
Also I will be getting the smoked acrylic for the front panel this week.

Hey Dave - just checking in to catch up on where you are with this build. Love it - hoping you'll put some more pics up for us.
Awesome build!
That build is extremely awesome! The best i've seen in a while. Totally clean with all the hardware totally visable and uncluddered with cables and tubes everywhere in the way. Thats a master piece! Just need a plexy glass front and i'd say done! hehe
