    H55 versus Intel G41 & G45 and Nvidia GF9300

OCworkbench has come across an interesting chart, comparing graphics performance of Intel's G4x series chipsets and Nvidia's GeForce 9300 to Intel's new CPUs with onboard graphics

    Source : http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/17008/1/

    Test :
    Cpu 1 : Intel E6550 On G41 & G45 & GF9300
    Cpu 2 : Intel Pentium G6950 On H55

So Still slower than Amd 785 , For Game !!

Seriously.. 20 fps in 800x600?? I have very bad eyesight and even I wouldn't play in that "resolution".
    P5E64_Evo/QX9650, 4x X25-E SSD - gimme speed..

Core i3 with 733MHz GPU clock & DDR3 1333 should be about 40% faster in graphic apps. Also there is no info about what drivers were used.
Here is another test (assuming 800MHZ GPU clock of overclocked G6950):

Amd 790gx is faster than 9300 but GF 9400 is slightly faster. well we will see fusion From AMD.Remember ,Core i3 integrated graphics core is a fully inherited from G45.
Mr. kl0012 , you forgot that test was not in overclock mode but you tested in overclock with 4000Mhz and 800Mhz and compared it !! it's good to see performance in overclock mode Versus non-overclock.

Your post is completelly pointless. I did not forget to mention that Intel's igp had 800MHz clock. But you probably forgot that i3 will have 733MHz clock and i5 661 will have default 900MHz clock.

It doesn't really matter which is the fastest as they're all too slow for games (at decent resolution at least).

What's more important (for me at least) is that H55/H57, when used in a HTPC, saves me from buying a discrete audio card as it's able to BITSTREAM HD Audio to my A/V receiver.

yeah, i think if there are going to be graphics tests, they should be ran at a minimum of 1680x1050 with at least medium quality settings. anything less than that doesnt show anything. or even show what settings are needed to play at a minimum 30fps so that people can judge for themselves if it is worthy to play games on.

if integrated video is the wave of the future, then fine.... lets get some standards in place as to how these need to be benched to show true gaming performance... 800x600 might be ok if you are on an 11" screen... maybe

the performance of Intel Graphic is poor and can not compete With AMD and Nvidia.for video and graphic , if we hold GPU ,amd and nvidia are Experiment.so for HTPC it's recommanded to buy product which chipset are from amd & nvidia.

As it was described in the article, the authors were limited to non-disclosure agreement. But they left a hint - in the bottom of the screenshot surrounded by the red border.

What a bunch of useless data. What about idle power, H.264 and VC-1 playback utilisation/power where it really matters for those platforms.
