Question Device manager or either driver won't detect my second GTX285!?

I installeda SLI setup on my friend PC and either device manager or drivers won't detect the second card, we tested both cards and they work, we desinstalled/ installed different drivers and still, what could be the problem?

    System Specs:

    Classified (non Nf200)
    i7 920
    Corsair 6gb DDR3 @1600mhz
    Corsair 1000w
Intell SSD for OS and normal HHD for gaming app's etc.
    OS: Win7 Release Candidate

Any help would be appreciated, I had many SLi setups and I never experienced this kind of problem

I've tried two bridges, the one that is 3-way capable and the 2-way

    Same f***-up here. Random crashes.
Try this.(No stability guaranteed, but works for me)

    install latest WHQL
    Reboot and disable physx.
    Reboot and install latest beta.
    Reboot and disable physx.
Enable SLI and reboot. (Enable physx gives bluescreen)

    Good luck.

I`ll keep you posted with any update.

Doesn't the Classified have jumpers to disable some of the slots. I don't recall if my board, 758A1, lets you put in any slot but if it doesn't force the top slot for single card operation than try the slot by itself since device manager isn't detecting the second card.

Went back to Vista64 Ultimate, and all works fine.

Back to Win7-64 Ultimate, and Blue`s are back.
(works a little better with third card for Physx only, but going back to 2d is f**d-up then) Need to reboot.

    Back to Vista for now.
Good luck in your search, and keep posting if any results......
