    Can't run particular WUs.

Finally made my brother's build stable now, I was going to check out how BOINC was doing.

I found out that some WUs was suspended before they were finished. Under the status they were marked as "Waiting to run." I tried suspending some other WUs to make those original works run, but it won't work. Now I have a whole cluster of unfinished WUs "Waiting to Run." I waited for one WU to finish, but BOINC will just start to run another fresh work unit.

    What do I do?

Tell the client not to get any more work and they should clear. Sometimes that happens when other units get sent out with short deadlines. This gives them a higher priority and the client will preempt existing work to get through the urgent ones first.

Typically you only run into this is yopu have a fairly large cache and then either the WU estimates are way off and start correcting themsleves or you turned the machine off for a while so BOINC manager again is trying to adjust to new parameters and thinks it is in trouble. If the projects I am running on a machiner are ZR (zero redundancy) like HFCC and FAAH then I go with a .35 day cache and if any other projects I go with 3 days. Anything more than that and you are just slowing everyone else down :-)
