    RocketRAID 4310 + 3x 7k1000.C

After my poor luck getting the HP P400 that I bought to work on my BloodRage, I decided to take advantage of the $229 blowout pricing on the HighPoint RocketRAID 4310 for my trio of 7k1000.C two-platter 1TB drives. I've got one on the way that should arrive on Wednesday and *fingers crossed* take the place of the ICH10R raid that I'm using now. I've done a set of benches on the ICH10R on a 2TB Raid 0 stripe with a strip size of 128k with write-back cache disabled for comparison. I'll throw up the HighPoint benches when it arrives.

Well. The 4310 won't see any drives when attached to my system, seems to work fine in my GF's PC so I'm guessing it's a Bloodrage issue. I'm going to give up on hardware raid and just use the ICH10R for now. I'm thinking hardware raid wouldn't make that big of a difference on my setup anyways, and the cost of a controller worth purchasing that works on my PC may be quite high.
