I unistalled and wiped the drivers etc. Loaded 9.11 clean. I have no crossfire option. both cards have the same driver version etc. Any thoughts?

but what do u gain? nothing they will run at the 5770 speeds? or at least that is the card that will hold it back, i guess ima sking why didnt u just get another 5770?

I had the 5770, and my wife got me a 5850. I remember guru3d running a review and should the benchmarks. I can't find it now. I know I am not loosing my mind. Oh well. I might try the beta driver. If not, I'll have to get another 5850.

well im pretty sure that ATI supports it (or did) where Nvid doesn't or something it was on some site with an interview with Nvid, and they pointed out that they can do it like ATI but there is no point in supporting it with drivers; and from what i have read there want any type of performance increase as the faster card has to wait for the slower card but for some reason it was a lot slower then 2 of the same card, maybe ATI decided to dump it in these last few drivers try 9.10 or maybe latter im not sure how far back u can go with these cards my Asus CD that came with my 5770 seems to hint back to at least 8.66 but idk....
