    Global Agenda (Game) Thread

Anyone else pre-order for $44.99(US) to get access to close beta? The game looks really promising and won more awards for upcoming games than almost any other:

    http://www.globalagendagame.com/

The game is based on the UT3 engine and is kind of like Borderlands + WoW rolled into won:

The game has a single cost mode sort of like Guild Wars, but it also has a persistent world mode called Conquest which is like $15 a month (first month free).

Interesting game, not sure I'd want to pay for it monthly and not sure I'd want to play it without the persistent world versus TF2. Will have to see what the reviews look like, read the RPS review but it wasn't much of a review.

You don't have to pay for the persistent world, it's just an option. If you want the game is just like any other, a one time payment.

I think you have to put your cd key into the beta thing or something, and probably activate it. So that you can't get your money back after you use the cd key for the beta.

So you can buy a 4 pack for 135$ on steam, and get the beta? That's more my price at like 34$ a person w/free month of play. I need a new game to play badly... If anyone has an extra steam key, msg me.

oh, no you can't do that, sorry misread.

This game is going to be insane though, read this from the forums just about tier colors:

So i did this for the alpha community, but lets do this again!

    So, to clarify whats coming...

    * There will be weapon dyes.
    * You'll at least be able to change the major color, and the "Emissive" or glowy parts of the mesh.
    * There are 5 tiers of dyes (for now at least)
    * Each tier is harder and harder to obtain.

Also the dye list looks like this...

    * Tier 1 - Flat colors, sort of desaturated, but allow for some customization. Limited numbers.
    * Tier 2 - Some glossy colors and limited metallic colors. A little more vibrant, but nothing crazy. A couple of camo patterns too.
    * Tier 3 - High glossy dyes, many metallic colors like bronze, gold, silver. A bigger list of camo patterns.
    * Tier 4 - Vibrant two tone dyes and more exotic metal colors, think custom paint jobs from something like west coast customs.
    * Tier 5 - Very rare "Epic" dyes that are very vibrant and bright. They have patterns that are interested and techy looking. Some have metal flake (google it if you like. )

Hopefully that will put you're mind at rest. There are something like 75 dyes in the game and i'm always coming up with ideas for more!

If you have ideas, or even better, a picture. Post it here and i'll try to build as list of things to add when i'm next re-visiting the dye list!

I would buy the key, not for free.. One of the 4 keys from the 4 pack is 33$, a full copy is 44$.

I don't think you can just buy a Beta Key. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Check on the Global Agenda site.

But if hes buys acopy of the game from someones 4 pack, he receives a full copy of the game and with it the beta test key. Plus he saves some money on the full game. If he doesnt like it after he beats the game then oh well for Wolf, but he doesnt really lose out because he got it cheaper than normal and isnt paying a monthly fee anyway.
