I didn't see any improvement between 9.12 and beta driver for 3D03. Maybe GB mobo has a big secret which can reach single 5970 nature 1170+ and GT2 1500+ with "1156 CPU".

i wish i can do again, but graphics all return to amd.
but from i see frames in 03 and vantage everything just goes smoothly
canyonflight hits 900 at max.in 05. all tests under pass all benchmark
and not crash bug or frame bug.

Hmm too bad. But you know it's possible for 03 to be bugged without there being any signs whatsoever, no black screen or anything.

I'd recommend Win XP for 06, I get like 700 points higher cpu score I think with i7-860 and UD5 but then again your cpu score looks VERY good for that clock speed.

CPU score is higher in XP yes, but the total score shouldn't be.

You might have bugged low in some tests. (Incidentally, hicookie's GT2 in the single 06 is itself bugged low)

Vista is certainly way better for 3dm06 with any dualcard nvidia. 295's i mean.
sure the cpu score is higher in xp, but thats nothing compared to the GPU boost u get in Vista. I did the same tests on air with a 295, xp beat vista by a full 700 points, BUT as soon as i started using 5.4ghz HT on, vista 'raped' xp by far.
