    MSI 4670 512mb vmod

I know there's already a couple of threads on modding these cards but it seems that there's a lot of non ref PCB's out there. Compared to the other guides on here, the only IC that I have in common with others is the vmem IC. The other IC's I have looked up on my card don't have FB pins. So if somebody can help me, I'd really appreciate it

These are the two different type of ICs I have on the back of my card.

    PM25LV512A

    RT9173C

uP6101 is the IC in the top left corner, RT9173C are the bottom two towards the bottom right corner and PM25LV512A is the one top of the bottom two.

I'm just a noob when it comes to this sort of stuff but usually the one in the top left corner is the mem IC right?

But I guess if you can't find a FB pin on the 2 ICs you've been able to determine, the 3rd IC would be the one you need

Edit: In the up6101 datasheet there's 2 pics on the first page, both with FB pins Or doesn't your card have SOP-8 or PSOP-8 type up6101?

Ok, nevermind I'm an idiot and completely overlooked the tiny IC on the front of the card. Its uP6205B the same as used on the 4770. FB is pin 8 and measures 711ohms to ground. Would 20k VR be enough or should I go up to 50k? Now, are these spots good for vGPU read points?

Do you think those are read points though?

filmbot, yes two of them should work fine for measuring Vgpu.
I added additional possible measuring points: http://ceemic.pri.ee/hardware/all/hd4670_mon.JPG
