    5970 CFx

    Heya,

    I'm having an argument with couple of my friends, about how many cards can be crossfired with a 5970.
    Specifically is this doable 5970+5870+5870 ?

    I'll appreciate a link to an official (or any other serious hardware site) information page.

    yes, I did it last night 5970+2x5870

    havent found a way to clock the cards in this configuration but scaling is quite awesome.
    Single 5970 card I get 26k, mixed quadfire I get 35k

    maybe in qf? i can clock both with just one 5870 added to a 59.

    Im pretty sure it was because I was running the older 9.11 drivers not the hemlock ones.
    I just moved both 5870s down 2 slot when the 5970 came, didnt bother with drivers
    Will try again today in more of a proper setup environment

    hmmm you got me thinking i think i will put the 58 in as main,then try 9.11 i hear better drivers for vantage then beta 9.12

    @Bobby - can you please post a screenshot of GPUz or similar programs that states "there are this, and this, and this" cards installed?
