    Talking [Team PURE] 3800+ Venice @ 3941.69Mhz - fastest s939 Athlon 64 ever!

    A friend of mine was going to come for a bench session yesterday, but he slept too long so we decided to do it later instead... but I still had 10L, so I decided to figure out which chips to bench the next time, I've got like 10 4000+ chips, no need to waste time on the bad ones I found I've got 4 3.8 capable chips, two can do even a bit more:

    4000+ SD @ 3832MHz

    Sould be possible to do some superpi action at ~3.65GHz on those later...

    Also tried two 3200+ Venice chips, one was pretty good:

    3200+ Venice @ 3663 MHz

    Got 3rd place, still a bit more left in it. Too bad it's more coldbugged than similar chips, or maybe 3.7+ would've been possible

    And then... hrhr... time to find the 3800+ I got to 3905 earlier... First chip I tried did 3860 - not bad at all, but too coldbugged so I knew it wasn't the right one. The second one... was the ONE:

    It "sucks" on air (needs like 1.35 for stability I think), but the coldbug is OUTSTANDING for a CAB1E chip - pot temp was -40c and ITE reported 244, which is -12c or so, at 328*12. Next time: 3950++ ...and I want that 1st spot in Superpi 1m as well

    Great scores Knut You are really benching A64 still now. I gave it up last year after my congenial partner gianni-gt gave up overclocking
    but ist nice to see that there are more than a handful of potencial chips in the world. you have to seek after that.

    Pretty awesome. Just curious if you had to change the cooling or up the voltage on the chipset to get it to run at 366mhz fsb, or does the 1.8v going to the cpu take care of that?

    366 HTT works at any voltage. Don't think vcore limits the HTT at all. Board can do much more than 400 without the need of more voltage to the chipset as well

    There will be more... on Monday, and MAYBE some testruns on air on Sunday evening, not sure about that yet though... need to reinstall the OS and tweak it properly
