    Project Liquid_Fusion (Dial up beware)

    Alright all,

Apparently it took months for my account here to get approved but hey, all is good now.

So, this project is my first liquid build and I am being assisted by Wezly (by assisted I mean, he brings me things and then tells me I owe him money :P).

WARNING: I tend to make VERY pic heavy threads.

So, that place where everything goes(Thermaltake Armor+)

    ZOMG....it's huge.....

    Next to the current build:

So, the hardware and then some Pron:
    Asus Crosshair IV Formula (RAWR!!)
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T (DOUBLE RAWR!!!!)
    8Gb G. Skill Ripjaws DDR3 2000 (maybe 1600, ordering in a few days)
2 x XFX HD4890 (only have one right now)
Corsair 750w power supply (hopefully 1000w modular sometime)
Hard drives are undecided right now

    The Wet Stuff:
    1x Swiftech Apogee XT Waterblock
1x Swiftech Extreme Duty Quadruple 120mm Radiator
1x XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay - DDC Dual Pump / Dual Split Reservoirs w/ Blue LED Light - Clear
1x Pump: still undecided on which one

Please excuse the fittings...color was originally going to be green and blac(same with the fans) but the mobo changed and that in turn reflected a color change.

    Now, lots of pron:

The res may change...I don't really like how it fits the case.

Painted the top...love it but now doesn't go with my scheme. Oh well for now:

I will post updates as they come.

    Hope everyone enjoys!!!

Get hold of metal fittings because the plastic ones can crack easily over time and cause a lot of problems.

Yeah, I was looking at metal. Mainly, if not for any reason other than the green plastic no longer matches. I have heard good and bad things about plastic and originally figured I'd give it a whirl. Now I probably will get metal fittings though.

Get metal ones. It's much safer than plastic ones.

Heads up if you just picked up that 4890 there has been a few threads now on the non-refrence design 4890's from XFX having issues!!! If you have had the card without any problems just over look this part of the post.

You have some nice hardware there!!! As you have heard from the other post Save your self the future headaches and get some B/P or EK fittings.

That rad will keep that 6 core nice and cold they tend to run colder than the AMD quads... Good Luck i'm looking foward to your build i have 4 AMD 6 core rigs running and love them for the price/performance with WCG.

Looks like I'll be getting metal fittings...

So it's Friday, and I got paid.

Haven't officially ordered yet but this is the pending cart (I want to make sure my direct deposit goes in before I go too crazy).

Probably could have gotten my new fittings and a pump in exchange for the 2nd monitor but..... it was a really good price for the monitors and I already have a sceptre 24 (which I love).

Hopefully, will have the rig powered on by Wednesday or so!

Good choice on hardware and changing the fittings they are horrible stuff.
    Looks like a promising build.
