    Post Safe voltages for i7

What's the max safe voltage an i7 can take?

I see in tech info from intel:

    1.55v max for cpu
    1.35v max for VTT
    1.89v max for PLL
    1.85v max for memory

Is this really the max safe or should i stay lower to avoid degrading my cpu?

And for safe temps? 85c is safe?

    Thanks for repliers

yep, stick to that table. Although for high ram clocks you might need higher VTT. And I doubt you will ever use >1.45V+ on air or even water since temps might be an issue especially with HT on

85C is ok, cpu will throttle around 100C

    Thank you.
    I use 1.3v for 4ghz.
But for 4.2ghz it need almost 1.38v. So i think 200mhz doesn't worth 0.08v more.
